Go!
This past Sabbath we heard the final part of Pastor Mark's series on vision. The lesson, simply stated, is to go! Once Yahweh sets things in place, or has placed something in your heart it's time to take action. Having a vision and even having a plan is one thing. It is another thing entirely to take action and run with it.
Sometimes we are called to go with no specific direction in mind. It might not make sense to us, but Yahweh always has a greater plan and purpose in place. We see an example of this in John 4:3-5. Yahshua is traveling from Judea to Galilee. There were numerous paths He could have taken, but He chose to stop in a specific town and talk to a specific person. In our own lives, we might not understand why Yahweh is telling us to head a certain direction, but trust that in the end His purposes will be revealed.
On the flip side to the unknown, sometimes we are certain of what Yahweh wants. It's in those moments that we need to be bold and take a step in that direction. Situations are not resolved on their own. People are not healed on their own. The gospel is not spread on its own. It is part of our duty as believers to go, to take initiative in our own lives. Pray for ways that you can purposely be present in situations or in peoples' lives who need it the most.
Finally, we must be prepared to back up what we believe (1 Peter3:15). It is not just important to know what you believe in but why you believe. There will be people who will want to challenge your faith or beliefs, and you need to be ready to defend yourself with love and grace. Simply being prepared may have a positive impact on someone else. As we go into the world, it is best to be fully armored and prepared. Spiritual battles will come whether we want them or not, but it's up to you to decide how ready for them you will be.
