The Wisdom of Yah
Isaiah 55:8-9 says, “For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares Yahweh. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts."
Many believers fall into the "ifs," "maybes," and "whys" in life. People have certain expectations, and in a world built around information at our fingertips, we don't like the unknown. These verses are a simple but powerful reminder that we are not all knowing. Leaders, parents and even pastors do not always have the answers. This may seem daunting, but comfort should come from the fact that Yahweh is all knowing. His knowledge, wisdom and understanding far surpasses anything we can possibly imagine.
As His people, it is not our job to always figure out the answer. When we need it, Yahweh will absolutely give you the knowledge you need. Believers have a 24/7 hotline to Yahweh that is always free: prayer. Ask for wisdom, ask for understanding, ask for acceptance to whatever His response may be.
As a congregation, we, the leadership team, know that Yahweh has something big in store for our little group. We don't know what it is or when it will come, but we trust that Yahweh knows, and He has a plan set in place for all of us. Pastor Mark has been sharing what Yahweh's laid on his heart lately. He doesn't have all the answers, but he does have a vision. Now, all we need to do is have faith and follow the road that has been set in place before us! Yah bless you all!
