The Beginnings of a Vision
This past Sabbath Pastor Mark started on his series about visions. The overall vision of the body of Yahshua comes from the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). The first thing believers are commanded to do is spread the Good News to everyone. Individual churches have their own way of doing that, but it is the underlying factor with all believers.

The goal of our vision is three-fold and reflected in our "motto." Save the Lost. Equip the Saved. Send the Equipped. Vision has nothing to do with elevated ourselves our building up temporary things that will never stand the test of time. Yah inspired vision should always be bigger than you. Why is that fact so important? In order for the the world to more clearly see Yahshua, He must get the glory.
Finally, vision is not for the faint of heart. Our journey as believers never has and never will be an easy one. Many people in the Bible who were following Yah's plan often were faced with hostility and discouragement. Vision takes time, commitment, and perseverance. We are confident that Yahweh has a much bigger plan for our congregation then we can even imagine. In order to see His vision come into fruition, we have to choose to rise up and keep going.
