Miracles Do Happen
This past service, we heard from Pastor Mark who talked about the prelude to a few miracles in the New Testament.
Matthew 14:15-21 talks about when Yahshua fed well over 5,000 people. There are two significant things to note from this story. The first one is that the disciples were the ones who actually passed out the food. Yahshua blessed the meal, but let them distribute it. With His blessing, we are able to do miracles! The second thing is that we simply need to use what we already have. If you only have a few loaves of bread and some fish, then use it! The quantity of what we bring to Yahweh does not matter as long as we surrender it all to Him.

Unity That Matters
Can’t we all just get along?
This week during our Sabbath service, Pastor Mark D. Vlad spoke on the topic of unity.
Philippians 2:1-2 tells us to fulfill Yahshua’s joy by being like-minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. This does not always mean doctrinal unity, because doctrinal unity is based on our personal walk with Yahshua. Over time we grow and our doctrinal beliefs can change based on revelation and maturity. Paul tells us to be like minded in love and in faith. If there is an issue where we cannot agree on something, we need to set it aside until Yahweh gives us wisdom on the subject. The enemy uses disagreements to tear the body of the church apart, something we see far too often in the body of Yahshua.

The Church
The Church. What is the purpose of the church and its members?
Caleb Oliva brought the first of a two part message to us at the beginning of the month, covering three of the 5 major functions he believes make up the church, both the building and the members.
