Holy Spirit You Are Welcome Here
Our relationship with the Holy Spirit, and by extension Yahweh, is meant to be a two-way street. He wants to hear from us, and gave us the Helper to allow us to do just that. All believers should want to pursue Yahweh. Many get too comfortable in their lives and settle for a passive faith, but as we see in The Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) we are called to have an active faith.
There are 3 specific ways that Yahweh speaks to us; specific instructions, vague instructions, and no instructions at all. An example of specific instructions would be the Israelites marching around Jericho. Yahweh gave them directions to follow along exactly. An example of vague instructions would be Abraham. Yahweh told Abraham to pack up his life and set out on a journey, but Abraham had no idea where to go or where he would end up.
No instructions were most common in the life of Yeshua and the apostles. They almost never asked Yahweh for directions or permission to do miracles. Why? Because they understood Yahweh's will. They knew it was what He would want them to do. After all, we are called to heal, lead, help, and bless others.
Miracles in general seem to have become more scarce as the years go by. The biggest reason for this is that believers aren't taking advantage of their greatest asset, the Holy Spirit. 1 Corinthians chapter 12 talks exclusively about some of the gifts and abilities we have at our disposal. Not all believers have the same talents, but what really matters is how they use them. Again, Yeshua wants us to do the things that He did. In fact, he encourages it (John 14:12-14). Invite the Holy Spirit to become a more active part of your daily life!
